Ozzint Beta Tester Brief
Thanks for helping test Ozzint Classify. This page covers everything you need before your first session. Read it once — it takes about 3 minutes.
Last updated: October 2026
A. What you are testing
This round of testing covers Ozzint Classify. Ozzint Signal is in development and is not part of this round:
A web app for uploading a commercial invoice PDF and receiving an AI-assisted HS classification, duty estimate, sanctions screen, and CDS-ready export. You log in, upload a PDF, and review the results on screen.
Access: ozzint.com/login
Zero-login email automation: forward a supplier invoice and receive a broker-ready CargoWise, Descartes or CDS file back by email. Signal is in development and not available for testing yet.

B. Known limits — please do not report these as bugs
- CBAM checks are not automated. Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism applicability is flagged by measure type but not fully scored. Manual CBAM review is required before submission for affected goods.
- EU origin mode is beta. UK-origin goods are fully supported. EU-originating goods go through the same pipeline but preferential rate evidence (REX, EUR.1) is captured but not fully validated end-to-end.
- Ozzint Signal is not available yet. Email forwarding is in development. Please test through the Ozzint Classify web app only.
- Pipeline takes 2–4 minutes. A full classification run with 2 line items takes roughly 2 minutes. Longer invoices take more time. The progress indicator updates every few seconds.
- No RBAC yet. All authenticated users have the same permissions. Role-based access control is on the roadmap but not yet shipped.
- Non-English invoices. Italian, French, German, and Spanish product descriptions are supported with vocabulary context. Other languages may produce lower-confidence classifications.
C. How to use Ozzint Classify
- Go to ozzint.com/login and sign in (or ask Winston for an invite link if you do not have an account).
- On the dashboard, click New job and upload a commercial invoice PDF.
- The pipeline runs automatically. You will see a progress indicator while it runs (typically 2–4 minutes).
- When complete, the split-screen view shows your invoice on the left and the classification results on the right. Click any line item row to open the full HS classification drill-down.
- If the result shows Clear — no blockers found. If it shows Needs Review — there are warnings or low-confidence findings to check. If it shows Blocked — a hard compliance blocker was found (e.g. sanctions match).
- Download the Broker Audit Report PDF from the results panel for a full human-readable audit document.
D. Ozzint Signal (coming soon)
Signal will let you forward an invoice by email and get a broker-ready file back, with no login. It is in development, so please don't test it in this round. If email automation would help your team, join the waitlist and tell us which output format you use.
E. What good feedback looks like
Specific, reproducible reports are far more useful than general impressions. Here are examples of feedback that is immediately actionable:
“HS code 1704.90.00 was suggested for protein energy bars. They contain 35% protein by weight, so 2106.90.90 (food preparations not elsewhere specified) is more accurate. The classification reasoning said ‘confectionery’ but the bars have no added sugar.”
“I uploaded the attached PDF at 14:32 and the progress checklist stopped at ‘Commodity codes validated’ for over 5 minutes. Job ID from the address bar was [paste]. Refreshing the page did not help.”
“The duty calculation showed 12% MFN but for these goods from Vietnam under UKVFTA the preferential rate should be 0%. The origin field on the invoice says VN.”
“The system is slow” — where? which step? what invoice type?
“The HS code looks wrong” — which code? what product? what would be correct?
F. How to send feedback
Email is the fastest channel. Click the link below — it opens a pre-addressed email so you do not need to copy anything:
Send feedback to OzzintOr email feedback@ozzint.com directly.
We aim to reply within 48 hours on weekdays. For classification corrections, your feedback will be reviewed and — if correct — added to the classification memory so future runs on the same product improve automatically.
